Andrea Morganstein MS, RD, LDN, CDCES is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist who received her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
The first half of her career has been spent in the fitness and wellness industries counseling both adults and children regarding their personal nutrition and fitness goals as well as helping them achieve a healthy relationship with food.
Andrea uses her skills as a dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist to help clients with prediabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, in addition to other health conditions, make healthier food choices to prevent, slow down or even regress symptoms of their disease.
She has taught exercise, weight loss and healthy eating classes to both adults and children, she is on staff at local colleges as an adjunct professor of nutrition and wellness and to enhance corporate wellness programs she gives lively lectures on various health and nutrition topics.
The second half of her career has been spent using functional nutrition in conjunction with behavioral change for clients suffering from mental health disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse. She conducts nutrition assessments, and educates clients on the importance of a healthy diet as she consults for addiction and recovery centers and works with clients at all levels of care.
As no two people are alike, Andrea takes a very individualized approach as she educates and coaches her clients on their journey to a lead a healthier and happier life.
